FBQ Sunday Brunch will return next week in its fabulously regularly scheduled place.
We will be heading to London to celebrate Black Gay Pride and wrap up the Olympics–ending today. No, Miss Things: I am not breaking into my 401k. But I had to find money for airfare and you don’t wanna know what I’m doing to get it.
Suffice it to say that it involves a whip and lots of WD40.
What I do to stay in your good graces…
The Queen’s finances are still in flux, so we’ll have to stay close by this week. However have I got some wild plans for the weeks to come. Until then, we need only to head up I95 a bit to a very sweet spot: Baltimore, MD…or as the people nickname it: Charm City.
Rodney King’s death slapped me in the face and reminded me of how the media has shaped my sense of self as a black man and as a gay man.
